Velti’s Finance team consists of the Treasurer, the Senior Accountant and the Accountant. The team works responsibly and the common goals of the members are to minimize risks, make fewer mistakes and keep the company safe. The main responsibilities of the team are:

Book-keeping includes all the day-to-day transactions which are recorded into the accounting software.
Cash flow management includes ensuring there are enough funds available to meet the daily payments and also includes credit, collection and payment policies that should be followed in the company.
Budget and forecasting refers to the process of planning month to month inflows and outflows as well as considering certain uncertainties that may affect the company’s operations.
Advising includes providing information to other departments as well as helping solve problems that may arise. Finally, reporting and analysis refers to preparation of reports for internal use and analysis and reports for various external tax or other authorities.
Our Treasurer has the below responsibilities:
- Performs all kinds of payments according to company’s policies (using credit cards, bank transfers, PayPal or prepaid cards)
- Communicates with suppliers (for payment dates, discrepancies on invoices or to negotiate prices)
- Checks agreements and terms of payment
- Communicates with banks in Greece and Cyprus
- Cooperates with our office in Dubai and helps other departments meet their obligations
- Prepares internal financial reports
Our Accountant has the below responsibilities:
- Performs all kinds of Bookkeeping (such as invoicing, payroll, expense reports, cost invoices, fixed assets, bank transactions)
- Communicates with our offices in Cyprus, Germany and Dubai for intercompany reconciliations
- Responsible for petty cash and for the management and preparation of tax reports
- Also communicates with suppliers for reconciliations and helps with ad hoc tasks of the department
Our Senior Accountant has the below responsibilities:
- Cooperates closely with our CEO & our Tax advisor
- Communicates with Social Security office, Tax office, external auditors
- Helps HR, Legal and other departments fulfil their obligations
- Prepares the annual financial statements as well as the filling for various funding programs
- Modifies the accounting procedures/software according to Greek accounting standards/laws and prepares ad hoc tasks for management
