Velti Announces ISO 27001 Certification

We are proud to announce today that Velti has been awarded the ISO 27001 certification with the scope of “Management, Design, Development, Installation & Support of Software Products, SaaS & IT Projects”.
ISO 27001 is one of the most well-known and internationally recognized standards for Information Security Systems. It requires organizations to assess the risks to their information assets (including company and customer information entrusted by their clients or third parties) and apply appropriate security controls to mitigate those risks. In order to achieve this certification, Velti’s compliance was validated by the independent auditor, DQS, a Certification Body for Management Systems, Products & Persons, founded in 1999.
Velti is a leading provider of innovative mobile-centric marketing, customer retention and content based solutions trusted globally by hundreds of mobile operators, brands and media groups. Being in the mobile marketing services industry since the year 2000, client data security is considered a core business strength at Velti. The company sets the goal of continuously improving its operations, and will be audited on a regular basis to keep up to date with this highly-regarded international standard in the future.
